He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Sedonia Davis Alexander, Sr.; his siblings, Cefous Alexander, Marshall Alexander, Sr., Clemon Alexander, Clifford Alexander, Lovenia Blanchard, Lillian Kennerson, Celestine Coleman and Thelma Keys; and his close friend Marian Juba Fontenot.
He is survived by: his children, Warren Alexander of Opelousas, LA, Vaniel Alexander (Cathy) of Cedar Hill, TX, Patrick Alexander (Marilyn) of Baton Rouge, LA, Clifford Alexander (LaTron) of Deridder, LA, Willie Fontenot, Jr. of Opelousas, LA, Yolanda Newell (Eddie) of Humble, TX, Antoinette Boutte' (Jeffery) of Opelousas, LA and Cynthia Coleman (Reuben) of San Antonio, TX; his sisters, Pearl Kennerson of Opelousas, LA, Verlee Andrus (Ervin) of Opelousas, LA and Genevieve Backus (James) of Florence, SC; and his siblings-in-law, Verlia Alexander of Opelousas, LA and Ervin Andrus. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
