She was predeceased by: her son Keith Carmouche; her parents, Mack Young and Joyce Young; and her siblings, Clovis, Paul Young and Alice Young Richard.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Wright, Jr. of Opelousas, LA; her daughter Jaime Joseph (James) of Houston, TX; her sisters, Patricia Edward (Darrel) of Opelousas, LA and Marjorie Young Roberts of San Diego, CA; and her grandson Caleb Curtis of Houston, TX. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (3283 US-167, Opelousas, LA 70570).
