She is survived by: her husband Dr. Charles Edward Lavis; her children, Susan Lavis Hufft (Patrick), Charles Edward Lavis, Jr., John Lawrence McKeever Lavis (Yvonne), William Clay Lavis and Sarah Lavis Carrington (David); her grandchildren, Parker, Sarah, Abby Hufft, Charlie, Rachel Lavis, Savannah Thomas, Evangeline, Clay Lavis, Caroline and Lauren Carrington; her niece Liz Leeper; her nephews, Billy and Jimmy Leeper; and her cousins, Netzy Durfey and Autumn Pattee.
