It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freddie Chenier of Opelousas, Louisiana, who passed away on January 26, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Leonard Chenier, Jr.; and his siblings, Robert Chenier, Linda Chenier and Anna Payne. He is survived by: his wife Deanna Chenier of Opelousas, LA; his sons, Christopher Berry (Lauren) of Opelousas, LA and Bradley Berry (Sherita) of Opelousas, LA; his stepson Diondrey Sally of Opelousas, LA; his daughters, Shawana Johnson of Opelousas, LA, Kristina Chenier of Opelousas, LA, Jessica Chenier of Opelousas, LA and Kyler Chenier of Opelousas, LA; his stepdaughter Mariah Stelly of Opelousas, LA; and his siblings, Michael Chenier of Opelousas, LA and Debra Ann Davis (Joe Nathan) of Opelousas, LA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 10:00 a. m. to 11:45 a. m. at Believers For Christ Ministry. ** Please be advised we will adhere to the safety measures and precautions provided by the state of Louisiana due to COVID-19.
