She is survived by: her niece Maeva Vallet (Anthony) of New Roads, LA; her great-niece Myra Ortego (Michael) of Opelousas; and her close friend Mary Ann Layssard (William) of Opelousas. She is also survived by great-great nieces and nephews; and great-great-great nieces and nephews.
