He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Fisher Simpson of Big Cane; his sons, Robert Simpson (Linda) of Carencro and Johnny Simpson of Lafayette; his siblings, Vernon Simpson (Juanita) of Big Cane, Aline Minniear (Tom) of Baton Rouge and Mary Stagg (Phil) of Zachary; his grandchildren, Anita Richard (Kevin), Marcus Simpson (Angelle) and Jeremy Simpson; and his child Lucy Todd Leger.
