She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Lalonde and Lola Angelle Lalonde; her husband Joseph C. Dupre; and her siblings, Curtis Lalonde and Wanda Sittig.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Brad Dupre of Prairie Ronde, Elizabeth Miller (Patrick), Mona Franks (Daniel) and Sherry Pommier (Mike); her siblings, Ricky Lalonde (Jackie), Ethel "Tete" Latiolais, Jane Artigue (Harris), Nell Begneaux (Carroll) and Shirley Quebedeaux (James); her brother-in-law Roy Sittig; her godchildren, Terry Begneaux and Scott Sittig; and her grandchildren, Aaron Miller, Victoria Miller, Gavin Franks, Madeline Franks Freeman (Steven), Shelbie David (Bryce), Blake Dupre, Bryce Dupre, Sierra Morris, Olivia Buller, Isaac Buller, Hannah Pommier and Bentley Pommier. She is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. A rosary was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Skip Montet Chapel at LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas (2845 S Union St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Landry Catholic Church (1020 N Main St, Opelousas, LA 70570).
