He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby L. Jefferson; his parents, Fenner and Octavia Jefferson, Jr.; his daughter Stephanie Jefferson; and his granddaughter Elaine Jefferson.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Jefferson of Opelousas, LA, Henry Jefferson of Opelousas, LA, Anthony Jefferson of Opelousas, LA, Rose Mary Jefferson of Opelousas, LA, Lottie Jefferson of Opelousas, LA, Vera Jefferson of Opelousas, LA and Kelly J. Collins (Eddie) of Keithville, LA; his sister Ethel Jones of Opelousas, LA; and his godson Timothy Arvie of Opelousas, LA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 from 9:00 a. m. to 10:45 a. m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home. ** Please be advised we will adhere to the safety measures and precautions provided by the state of Louisiana due to COVID-19.
