He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Jason and Octavia Honoree; his siblings, Manuel, Senior, Shelton Jason, LaVance Gallow and Annie Ned; his grandchildren, Amber Frank, Jannarkone Jason and LaJone Jason; and his sons-in-law, Frank Fontenot and Frederick Joubert.
He is survived by: his children, Phillip Jason (Evelyn) of Oklahoma City, OK, Glenda Joubert of Opelousas, LA, Irene Frank (William) of Opelousas, LA, Frieda Jason of Opelousas, LA, Amanda Jason of Opelousas, LA and Renella Fontenot of LeMoyen, LA; his siblings, Darise of Ville Platte, LA, Alex Jason of Ville Platte, LA and Ella Thomas of Grand Prairie, LA; and his niece Priscilla Richard (James) of Opelousas, LA. He is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren; seventy-four great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
