She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Jackson Lucas; her parents, Pierre Stephens and Laurence Stephens; her son Fred Bennett Lucas; and her brother Ray Stephens.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lynn Benoit of Carencro and Mary Ellen Broussard of Opelousas; and her brother Clarence Stephens of Opelousas, J. P. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
