She is survived by: her children, Arthur Sam (Joyce) of Opelousas, LA, Christopher Sam of Opelousas, LA, Leroy Sam of Lafayette, LA, Barbara Tyler (Danny) of Opelousas, LA, Kandid Batiste (Eli) of Lafayette, LA and Shirley Sam of Breaux Bridge, LA.
