He was predeceased by: his wife Rosella Fontenot Marcantel; and his parents, Basile Marcantel and Amanda Courville Marcantel. He is survived by: his daughters, Joyce Bennett (Jerry Bennett) of Opelousas and Caroline Mazurkiewicz (George Mazurkiewicz) of Opelousas; his grandchildren, Brigette Towler, Chance Gil and Angel Courville; and his stepgrandchildren, Monique Blaylock, Stacey Tretter, Duska Bennett and Eddie Bennett.
