She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Broussard and Anita Trahan Broussard; her husband Voorhies Matt; her siblings, Overton Broussard, Athanas Broussard, Antoine Broussard, Preston Broussard, Chester Broussard, Emery "Bruce" Broussard and Antoinette Broussard Dupuis; and her son-in-law Tommy Bullara.
She is survived by: her children, Sidney J. Matt (Peggy) of Duson, Michael (Cynthia) of Lafayette and Anita Bullara of Opelousas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
