It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Chautin Ardoin (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on June 27, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Huey Ardoin, Sr; her son Huey Paul "Chip" Ardoin, II; her parents, Clebert Chautin and Josie Myers; and her sisters, Bea Grimmet and Eula Ortego.
She is survived by: her daughters, Roxie A. Carriere (LeRoy), Tommie Lynn Bruno of Broussard and Shelly Cain (Louis); her daughter-in-law Tonia Ray Ardoin of Opelousas; and her siblings, Sonny Chautin of Opelousas, Mae Chautin of Opelousas and Odile Ardoin of Washington. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
