It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elton Henry (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on May 1, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas "Hickman" Henry, Sr. and Mary Taylor Henry; his daughter Carla Henry Allen; and his brothers, Thomas Henry, Jr., Loney Henry, Mary "June" Henry, Elijah Henry, Frank Henry, Moses Jasper, Sr., Joseph "Bay" Henry, Albert Henry and Davis Henry.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Davis Henry of Opelousas, LA; his children, Karl E. Henry, Yural J. Henry, Adrien Henry, Sr., Demetrius Henry, Anitria D. Thomas and Robbie Henry; his sister Ruby Henry; and also Smith. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
