It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Venable of Opelousas, Louisiana, who passed away on October 14, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dalbert Venable, Sr.; her parents, Hobson Brown and Minnie Brown; and her brothers, Earl Brown (Lois) and Curtis Brown (Jerry).
She is survived by: her son Richard "Ricky" Venable (Jerri) of Opelousas, Dalbert; her grandchildren, Nicholas "Nick" Venable (Amanda), Adam Venable, Stacie Pitre (Ronnie), Colby Venable, Britney Speyrer (Alex), Jennifer Venable, Spencer Venable, Keisha Venable and Tyler Trahan; and her great grandchildren, Ronnie Pitre, III, Camryn Pitre, Logan Venable, Avery Venable, Cooper Venable, Liam Speyrer, Marshayla Williams, Trinity Johnson, Lai, Johnson and Scotti Venable.
