She was predeceased by: her mother Lena Edwards; her daughter Deborah Esprit Poullard; and her husband Abraham Esprit Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Esprit (Mary) of Opelousas, LA, Abraham Esprit Jr. of San Diego, CA and Barbara Esprit Tyler of Opelousas, LA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
