She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Baptiste, Sr.; her parents, Eli Johnson and Emma Zachary Johnson; her daughter Penny Baptiste; her brother Ennis Johnson; her son-in-law James Albert; her grandson Peter Baptiste; and her great grandchild Miles Babineaux.
She is survived by: her children, Lawrence Baptiste of Lawtell, LA, Raymond Baptiste, Jr. of Opelousas, LA, Michael Baptiste of Opelousas, LA, Stephen Baptiste of Abbeville, LA and Patricia Albert of Lawtell, LA; and her sister Pearl Gloston of New Orleans, LA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
