She was predeceased by: her parents, Eli Alcee "Jimmy" Handy and Virgie Marie Butler; and her siblings, Jessie Handy, Andrew Handy, Anthony Handy, Peter Handy, Ronnie Handy, Russell Handy, Michael Handy, Albert Handy and Gloria Handy.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Williams of Opelousas, LA; her son Edward Jermaine Williams (Chasity) of Lafayette, LA; her siblings, Paul Handy of Richard, LA, Jimmy, Donnie Handy of Oklahoma and Mary Lynn Charlot (Ray) of Church Point, LA; and her grandson Isaiah Williams. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church (693 N Main St, Church Point, LA 70525). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
