With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Bocard (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on March 24, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Bocard; her parents, Joe Albert and Melinda Thomas Albert; her stepmother Julia Aggison Albert; her granddaughter Trena Young; and her siblings, Louis Albert, Hammond Albert, Herman Albert, Silas Albert, Sampson Albert, Aceson Albert, Priscilla Albert Joubert, Bessie Lee Albert Semien and Mary Rose Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Albert Bocard (Irma) of Houston, TX, Allen Bocard of Houston, TX, Eleanor Ollie (Roosevelt) of Houston, TX, Cora Thorns of Houston, TX and Betty Bocard of Houston, TX; and her siblings, Floyd Albert of Houston, TX, William Albert of Houston, TX, Florence Lavine of Houston, TX, Lillie Albert of Houston, TX and Rosa Albert Milburn (Larry) of Opelousas, LA. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
