He is survived by: his wife Gerri Lemelle Belton of Mallet, LA; his children, John Belton (Monique) of Mallet, LA, Lemelle (Jacinta) of Opelousas, LA, Judy Belton of Mallet, LA, Madonna Belton of Baton Rouge, LA and Nannette Belton McClain (Eddie) of Mallet, LA; and his brother Willie Belton of Basile, LA. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
