He was predeceased by: his father Donald Clyde Ray. He is survived by: his mother Betty Lou F. Ray; his siblings, James "Jimmy" Carl Ray of Baton Rouge, Marian Darby (Felix) of Opelousas, Annette Ray of Opelousas and Linda Ray of Opelousas; and his pet Toby. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
