He is survived by: his wife Martha Hunt Mixon of Opelousas, LA; his children, RaShawnda Mixon of Houston, TX, Diedra Prudhomme (Bryan) of Eunice, LA and Edward Mixon, Jr. of Opelousas, LA; his siblings, Samuel Mixon of Mobile, AL, Michael Mixon of Mobile, AL and Brenda Mixon Moore (Carl) of Mobile, AL; and his grandchildren, Markel Mixon, Jaden Mixon and Donald Louding, III. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
