He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Jenkins and Ezola Jenkins Sr.; his wife Delores Mae Davis Jenkins; his brothers, Risman, Rossman, Freddie, Paul, Herbert, James and Mark; his grandchildren, Michael Paul Espree, Eric Jenkins, Trence Thibodeaux and Jason Jenkins; his great grandchild Devon Mayon Jr.; and his children-in-law, Gerard M. Espree and Pamela Ned.
He is survived by: his children, Pauline Jenkins Espree, Lawrence L. Jenkins (Carla), Earvin Jenkins Jr. (Alfreda), Michael A. Jenkins (Barbara), James C. Jenkins (Samantha) and Patrick D. Jenkins (Charlene). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Bellevue Street Baptist Church (326 W Bellevue St, Opelousas, LA 70570).
