He was predeceased by: his wife Willie Mae Thompson Marcel; his parents, J. B. Octave Marcel and Annabell Auzenne Marcel; his sons, Ralph Leo Marcel and Ronald James Marcel; and his siblings, Antoine Marcel, Helena Marcel, Wilda Shelvin, Clara Prince and Clementine Marcel (Josephine Caldwell).
He is survived by: his children, Earl Marcel, Jr. of Murphy, TX, Michael Marcel, Sr. of Houston, TX, Shirley Marie Marcel of Houston, TX, Elizabeth Marcel of Houston, TX and Elaine Manuel of Missouri City, TX; and his siblings, Albert Marcel, Sr. of Leonville, LA, Marie Marcel of Houston, TX and Eva Marcel of Galveston, TX. He is also survived by great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
