It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dylan Ray Bernard (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on February 24, 2022, at the age of 25, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfather Oscar Richard, Sr.. He is survived by: his parents, Penny Bernard of Opelousas and Darrell Bernard (Elizabeth) of Opelousas; his siblings, Trent Smith (Mallory) of Bunkie, John Bernard (Dana) of Opelousas and Laila Whatley of Opelousas; his stepsiblings, Tyler Davis of Norman, OK, Logan Davis of Norman, OK and Chelsea Davis (Michael Whatley) of Norman, OK; his grandparents, Larry Bernard, Sr., Judy Bernard of Opelousas and Cora Moreau (Benjamin); and his godchild Cypress Smith. He is also survived by 4 nephews and 3 nieces.
It was there Dylan gave the gift of life through organ donation following his passing.
