He was predeceased by: his son Brett Wallett; his siblings, Jane Wallett Dean and Stephen Wallett; and his siblings-in-law, Tim Boyd, Mary Mardine Ortego and Paula Ortego.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Lynn Ortego Wallett; his stepson Paul Fink; his siblings, Beth Wallett Boyd and Troyce DuCorbier; and his brothers-in-law, Michael Ortego (Myra), Brad Ortego (Sharon) and Neil Ortgo (Cathy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Micheal was very knowledgeable in picking great horses!Michael has donated his body to the Anatomical Research Center in New Orleans.
