It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denny Devillier (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on August 5, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Archile Devillier and Nellie Plaisance Devillier; his siblings, Thomas Devillier, Irene Bates and Julia Devillier; and his granddaughter Denee Devillier.

He is survived by: his wife Nellie Richard Devillier of Port Barre; his son Daryl J. Devillier of Picayune; his stepson Robert Richard of Livingston; his daughters, Sherry Cobb of Virginia, Melissa Bond Necaise of Kiln and Stacey Devillier of Mississippi; and his brother H. L. Devillier (Charles Devillier) of Shreveport. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren.
