It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah Pernell Rideau (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on March 3, 2020, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Rose Rideau and Leroy Edwards; her grandparents, Otis, Louise Rideau, Theodore and Georgia Edwards; her grandson Jaylon Rideau; and her aunts and uncles, Jessie Mae Rideau, Cynthia Rideau, Jeanette Rideau Davis, Charles Edward Rideau, Charles Ray Rideau, Freddie Rideau and John Otis Rideau.
She is survived by: her close friend Donald Thomas of Opelousas, LA; her daughters, Tamekia Rideau (Dexter) of Las Vegas, NV and Courtney Rideau of Opelousas, LA; her brothers, Donovan Rideau (Stephanie) and Kirk Stevens of Opelousas, LA; her grandchildren, Trevorr, Tre (Viona Daughtery), Tillion Rideau and Jamya Savoy; and her stepfather Leroy Stevens of Houston, TX. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
