It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cornell Darby (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on April 11, 2019, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Chachere and Pearl Carmouche Chachere. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Jenkins Darby of Opelousas, LA; his daughters, LaTonya Zachary (Paul) of Lawtell, LA, Charlotte Shaw, Melissa Darby of Opelousas, LA, Liza Darby of Opelousas, Kathy Darby of Opelousas and Deidra Darby; and his granddaughter-in-law Rickera Zachary (Paul Zachary, Jr.). He is also survived by two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
