He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Trahan Collins; his parents, Arthur P. Collins, Sr. and Anita Bernard Collins; and his siblings, Pete Collins, Martin Collins, Cecile Bienvenu, Ella Wyble and Cora Darby.
He is survived by: his children, Doris Ann Collins of Opelousas, Glenn P. Collins of Opelousas and J. Neil Collins (Ann) of New Iberia.
