He is survived by: his wife Ellavert Thibodeaux Gobert; his children, Clarence John Gobert, Darryl Joseph Gobert (Jane), Kevin Matthew Gobert (Alysia) and Mary Gobert; his siblings, Nolan Gobert (Theresa), Morris Gobert (Orelia) and Juanita Gobert; and his grandchildren, Paralee Frances Gobert, John Paul Gobert, Derrick Gobert, Danielle Jones, Tina Johnwell, Durel Gobert, Maggie Ann Fuselier, Elijah Paul Gobert, Jr., Trenton Gobert and Christian Gobert. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
