He is survived by: his children, Les Bertrand (Phyllis Michel) of Lafayette, Linda Darby (Jerry) of Eunice, Jullie Cormier (Matt) of Arnaudville and Nicole Matt of Alexandria; his sisters, Jeannie Gonsoulin of Kemah, TX and Catherine Bertrand of Opelousas; his grandchildren, Clay Cormier, Caine Cormier, Harli Matt, Alli Matt and Jadi Matt; and his great grandchild Drake Charles Vernon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
