With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chester J. Berard (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on April 2, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Bella Berard; and his siblings, William, Bennett, Dewey, George, Maurice Berard, Theresa Champagne and Pauline Savoy.
He is survived by: his wife Laida Thomassee Berard; his children, Joseph "Wayne" Berard (Patricia) and Cheryl Robin of Cecilia; and his grandchildren, Shawn Robin of Cecilia, Rusty Berard (Kelly) of Breaux Bridge and Jade Doucet (Greg) of Carencro. He is also survived by his six great grandchildren.
