She was predeceased by: her daughter Jeanne Tatman; her parents, Minnie Hamby, and Frank Hamby, Sr.; and her siblings, Dot Green, Frank Hamby and Charles Hamby.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Lanning (Michael), Kelly Mayeux (Lynn), Chris Mayeux (Becky) and Mona Woodson (Terry); her grandchildren, Chris Lanning, Patrick Lanning (Mallory), Trae Mayeux (Aubrie), Regan Mayeux (Claire), Kristin, Brooke, Brandon Mayeux, Chad Mayeux (Katie), Andy Mayeux (Misty), Ryan Woodson (Hannah) and Joshua Woodson (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Wesley, James, Isla, Jade, Harper, Nola, Calla, Sadie-Lynn, Skylar, Zoey, Reid and Avery; and her sister Edith Burns. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to any dog rescue organization or humane society of your choice.
