He was predeceased by: his wife Gina Boagni; his parents, Edgar Bacon Jr. and Alice Soileau Bacon McClelland; his stepfather Robert McClelland; and his brother Fred Bacon.
He is survived by: his sons, Jamie Bacon of Port Barre and Mark Ortego of Baton Rouge; the mother of his child Tiny McGee Williams; and his siblings, Tommy McClelland (Sue) of Port Barre, Cathy Bacon of Opelousas, Greta McClelland Fontenot (Darrell) of Opelousas and Nancy McClelland Jarnagin (Tom) of Sunset.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Sibille Funeral Home (2309 George Dr, Opelousas, LA 70570). A rosary will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 2:45 PM to 4:15 PM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (702 Cedar Hill Dr, Washington, LA 70589).
