He is survived by: his children, Kip Guidry of Opelousas, LA and Madonna Dossman of Breaux Bridge, LA; and his siblings, Bert Guidry (Kim) of California, Willie Ray Guidry of Port Arthur, TX, Ronald Guidry of Jasper, TX, Dennis Guidry of New Roads, LA, Kathy Richard (Ronald) of Church Point, LA, Geneva Guidry of Central, LA, Audrey Rushing of Central, LA and Elizabeth Guidry of Baton Rouge, LA.. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Charles organized and played in charity softball games.
