It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Daniels (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on August 3, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Daniels and Andrea Marks; his siblings, Simon Israel, Norma Stelly, Lou Leininger and Betty Scruggins; and his granddaughter Amy Schexnayder.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Stoute Daniels; his daughters, Tammy Dugas (Ricky), Jody Schexnayder (John) and Charlotte Stelly (Kim); his brother Eddie Israel (Mildred); his grandchildren, Charlie Fontenot (Mary Helen), Michelle Higdon (Rusty), Brandon Dugas (Chassidy), Logan Stelly (Marcy), Brennan Stelly, Peyton Vidrine (Tyler) and Danielle Schexnayder; and his great grandchildren, Andi Higdon, Leah Fontenot, Ross Higdon, Lane Dugas, Will Fontenot, Drew Higdon, Cara Fontenot, Addisyn Dugas, Callie Smith, Cy Stelly, John Parker Stelly, Piper Stelly and Emersyn Vidrine.
