She was predeceased by: her husband Ivory Young, Sr.; and her parents, David Grimes and Lourena Johnson Grimes. She is survived by: her children, Ivory Young, Jr. (Nicole) of Coral Springs, FL, Rev. Michael Grimes of Opelousas, LA, Courtney Young of St. Francisville, LA and Kathy Young of St. Francisville, LA; and her siblings, John Wright of Bunkie, LA and Audray Howard of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
