She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Higginbotham and Barbara Higginbotham; her grandparents, Emery, Hazel Marks, Austin and Wilma Higginbotham; and her brother Newton Nelams (Figgy).
She is survived by: her husband Benjamin McGue, Sr. of Washington; her children, Giles Faul (Chrystal) of Church Point, Benjamin McGue II (Marissa) of Ville Platte, Zachary McGue of Opelousas, Heather Beach (Lawson) of Fort Worth and Monique Wells (Jeremy) of Slidell, LA.; and her siblings, David Nelams (Christine) of Youngsville, Archie Higginbotham, Jr. of Church Point, Amanda Bourque (Kevin) of Church Point and Donna Nelams of Church Point. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
