She is survived by: her husband Acadiana Wilderness Campground; her son Ben Johnson (Lethi Champagne) of Sunset; her siblings, Melvin Comeaux of Krotz Springs, Russell Comeaux (Ginger) of Camden, Arkansas, Amy Chautin (John) of Port Barre and Ella Rose Guillory of Port Barre; her goddaughters, Jennifer Arnaud and Kristen Desormeaux; her grandchildren, Madison Savoy, Stetson Johnson, Blakelyn Johnson and Taylor Stelly; and her great grandchildren, Brylor and Brylee Stelly. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Skip Montet Chapel at LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas (2845 S Union St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A rosary was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Palmetto Methodist Cemetery (486 Joseph St, Palmetto, LA 71358).
