He is survived by: his wife Virginia Thomas Rideau of Opelousas, LA; his children, Sharon Rideau of Houston, TX, Rodney Rideau (K'Tisaka) of Darrow, LA and Brent Rideau (Clarissa) of Baton Rouge, LA; his siblings, Norma Thierry (Ellis) of New Orleans, LA, Patty Thierry of Crosby, TX, Cynthia Collins (Clarence) of Spring, TX and Paul Lionel Rideau of Palmetto, LA; his grandchildren, Brea Simmons, Jordan Rideau, Laila Rideau and Drew Rideau; and his great grandchildren, Harlem Rideau and Logan Brown, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives.
