With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Burley A. Valin (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on September 2, 2020 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Delores D. Valin; his daughter Angela Y. Valin; his parents, Isabella Achain Vallian and Joseph Vallian; his siblings, Bertha Whitaker, Grace Marie Vallian Babineaux, Rella Mayo, Velma Mayo, Thelma Gloston, Morris Vallian, Earl Alexander, Lawrence Vallian and Robert Valin; and his uncle Pastor Louis Achain Sr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Belinda A Stevenson of Opelousas, LA and Priscar S. Thornton (Brett) of Zachary, LA; his brothers, Samuel Billy Vallian (Cleopatra) of Opelousas, LA, Horace Vallian of Opelousas, LA and Joseph Vallian of Opelousas, LA; his close friend Lisa Myers; and his godson David Lee Charles. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will resume on Saturday September 12, 2020 from 12:00 p. m. to 1:45 p. m. with the service beginning at 2:00 p. m. Due to COVID there are restrictions on visitation and services.
