Bryan Kubelka Sr. Obituary
OPELOUSAS ~. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date for Bryan James Kubelka, Sr., age 60, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at his residence in Opelousas. Mr. Kubelka was a native of Franklin and a resident of Opelousas. He worked as a carpenter in the construction industry. Bryan was known as the best carpenter and taught many people the skills of building a home from the ground up.
He was loved by many and will be deeply missed. Survivors include his loving wife of 14 years, Judy Viator of Opelousas; his mother Theresa Kubelka of Franklin; two sons, Bryan Kubelka, Jr. and his wife, Brittany, Brad Kubelka and his wife, Leslie; two stepdaughters, Sarah Viator and Wendy Carriere and her husband, Blaine; one stepson, Timothy Viator; two brothers, Robert Kubelka and his wife, Sandra, and Christian Kubelka and his wife, Tammy; two sisters, Tracie Louviere and her husband, Earl and Kaki Kubelka; three grandchildren, Lillie Kubelka, Anna Kubelka and Bree Kubelka; five step grandchildren, Kirsten Day, Kelsey Carriere, Blaze Carriere, Haven Lemaire and Jon Lemaire; one great grandchild, Luka Ray Guidry; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Kubelka, Jr.; one brother Tim Kubelka; and one nephew, David Weber. Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro, 4615 North University Avenue, (337) 896-6366, is in charge of arrangements.
