She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Lalonde and Hazel Thibodeaux Lalonde; her son David Lalonde; and her sister Barbara Lalonde. She is survived by: her husband Francisco "Chico" DeJean of Opelousas; her children, Travis Ellis, Sr. of Port Barre and Michelle Valin of Port Barre; her siblings, Marion Lalonde, Jr. of Port Barre, Bobby Lalonde of Fargo, Rodney Lalonde of Opelousas and Sandra Miller of Port Barre; her grandchildren, Bryse Valin, Brock Valin, Zoey Ellis, Brianna Ellis, Dustin Ellis, Travis Ellis, Jr., Sydney Ellis and Charley Ellis; and her great grandchildren, Ay'veon Bryton, Brooklyn Valin and Ronin Courville.
