She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Courville and Berna Fontenot Courville; and her brothers, Melton Courville and Tony Courville. She is survived by: her children, Douglas Marks (Penny) of Opelousas and Tonya Marks of Lafayette; her siblings, Clayton Courville of Opelousas, Milton Courville of Port Barre, Adam Courville (Diane) of Washington, Billy Courville of Opelousas, Mary Singleton of Baton Rouge, Beverly Chautin (Ronald) of Opelousas and Amanda Bergeron (Glenn Boudreaux) of Port Barre; her grandchildren, Paige Andrepont, Devin Andrepont, Sayrn Marks and Dylan "Tre" Marks; and her great grandchild Bryson "Bubba" Narcisse.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to offset the cost of funeral expenses.
