She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Lavergne, Sr. and Leatrice Lavergne; her husband Charles Winfrey, Jr.; her sister Patricia Ann Jack; her grandchild Jaquille Thomas; her mother-in-law Anna Belle Winfrey; her siblings-in-law, Terral Guillory and Dianna Belle Lewis; and her son-in-law Ray Marshall.
She is survived by: her children, Monica Winfrey Marshall (Willie) of Houston, TX, Damian Tramain Winfrey of Atlanta, GA and Derrick Keith Winfrey of Houston, TX; her siblings, Albert "Chubby" Lavergne, Jr. (Mary Jo) of Bristol, TN and Sandra "Kay" Guillory of Zachary, LA; her grandchildren, Jordan Marshall, Nadia Marshall-Lacy (D'Marcus), McKynzie Marshall, Jakayla Winfrey and Jakyra Winfrey; her great grandchildren, Kynlee Marshall, Joanna Marshall and Kasey Marshall; and her godchildren, Antiffany Guillory and Tanyell Johnson.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Community Chapel Church of God in Christ (1606 College Ave, Opelousas, LA 70570).
