She is survived by: her mother Roberta T. Johnson; her daughters, Michelle Maxis LeBlanc of Opelousas, LA, Nicole Thomas of Scott, LA and Monica Thomas of Breaux Bridge, LA; her siblings, Jimmy Johnson (Diane) of College Station, TX, Johnny Johnson (Nita) of Scott, LA, Larry Johnson of Opelousas, LA, Cheryl Johnson Moss (Dalton) of Lafayette, LA, Myle Johnson Bourque of Opelousas, LA and Janet Johnson Hollie (Mark) of Carencro, LA.; and her grandchildren, Jayci Thomas, Austin LeBlanc, Gage Venable, Krystian Trahan, Payton Thomas, Misty Trahan and Jolie Trahan Brown. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Skip Montet Chapel at LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas (2845 S Union St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A rosary was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Landry Catholic Church (1020 N Main St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (355 Teurlings Dr, Lafayette, LA 70501).
