She was predeceased by: her husband Fenrick Fontenot; and her parents, Avie Blanchard and Lena Blanchard. She is survived by: her children, Doyle Fontenot (Debbie), Euney Fontenot (Krista), Andy Fontenot (Debbie), Claudella Credeur (Kent) and Darlene Fontenot; her siblings, Brenda Smith and Herbert Blanchard (Linda); her siblings-in-law, Benny Fontenot and Sandra Fontenot (Brent); her grandchildren, Krystal, Katie, Haley, Brittney, Brandon, Savanah, Tanya, Mark, Seth, Gavin, Andrus, Jr., Dylan and Brooklyn; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Kaleb, Evelyn, Preston, Abby, Amelia, Kate, Addison, Austin, Adalynn and Autumn; her siblings, Audrey Williams and Andrus Blanchard; and her sister-in-law Glenda Fontenot.
Viewing was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Skip Montet Chapel at LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas (2845 S Union St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A rosary was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church (2125 S Union St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery (4833 LA-182, Opelousas, LA 70570).
