She was predeceased by: her husband Fredrick Roberts; her parents, Edward Jacobs and Beatrice Jacobs; her son Shedrick Roberts, Sr.; and her siblings, Gervis Jacobs, Murphy Jacobs, Lee Vert Jacobs, Lee Edward Jacobs, Verlin Jacobs and Lucy Tezeno.
She is survived by: her daughter Valerie Roberts of Opelousas, LA; her daughter-in-law Lucinda Sonnier of Opelousas; her siblings, Jimmy Jacobs (Carmen) of Gray, LA and Gloria Roberts of Plaisance, LA; her grandchildren, Ashanti Roberts, Brianna Jones, Shedrick Roberts, Jr., Codorian Jones and Symone Roberts; and her godchildren, Kevin Tezeno and Penny Jacobs. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
